Banquet has been a brand that’s been around for quite some time now (50 years to be exact) and have provided families with low-cost frozen meals that fit within any budget. Banquet has very recently introduced single serving fruit pies to their frozen food line, featuring a half serving of real fruit inside a flaky pastry shell and the best part is you can cook these little numbers right in the oven or microwave in just minutes.
We had the opportunity to try out the new Banquet Pie’s and at just $.69 I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much. I went with the Apple Pie, although Cherry Berry and Peach are also available. I decided to cook it in the oven rather than the microwave so that I could get the nicely browned and flaky crust, however I do love that these are also microwavable. I popped in the oven for just 30 minutes and I placed it on a plate upset down and then I went for it….OMG! These little pies are heavenly! I’m talking freshly baked apple pie that after taking just one bite of, you continue to eat it because you just can’t stop. I really had no intentions of eating the entire pie..honest…but I couldn’t stop.

We just tried these! They were on sale for just $.99! DELICIOUS!! It’s nice for us because we don’t like to get a WHOLE pie. This is a good serving for hubby and I to share! Love them!
