With Christmas fast approaching, I’ve been keeping my eye out for amazing and quality Christmas gifts that won’t break the bank, as I’m sure many of you are! I always hit a bit of a wall when it comes to my girls because there really isn’t one specific item or items that they ask for. I can take Big Pea to ToysRus and she’ll walk around for an hour and still have no clue what she wants. I know what your thinking…”your the luckiest mom ever”! Well one would think that, however when birthdays and Christmas rolls around, I have the daunting task of buying something that I think she will like…it’s far more difficult than you would think!
I have always defaulted to crafts and art, because what child doesn’t love to use their imagination through creating one of a kind masterpieces through play and creativity? Of course, a cardboard box would also suffice… seriously, what is it with the cardboard boxes?
Here enters one of my new favorite products…. Box Creations!
What is Box Creations?
A unique line of corrugated play structures for kids…or plainly put..cardboard playhouses that resemble Medieval Castles, Space Shuttles, Playhouses, Princess Carriages and more! Each play structure is made of durable, white cardboard, so that little imaginations can color, draw and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece!
We received a Medieval Castle from Box Creations to checkout and we were all thrilled when the package arrived! Of course, you have to build the structure (which took about 10 minutes) and it comes with about 10 flat cardboard panels that you will have to piece together. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to stick the tabs into the slots. Box Creations really thought out their design well, as the tabs fold down, so they can be easily maneuvered into the slots. Once the tab was in, I simply folded the tab back up and the structure stayed in place, creating a durable play structure for the girls to play in!
The Medieval Castle is big enough for 2 children to play in comfortably and includes pre-printed line work, giving children a place to start on the coloring fun! Two castle gates can be lowered for additional fun and Lil’ Pea loved that she could stand in the tower. The girls colored the castle for hours…and days! They have spent so much time in their playroom working on the castle and I think we’ve all enjoyed every minute of it!
What’s Really Awesome about Box Creations?
Well for starters, all Box Creations play structures are made of recycled material in the USA! 4 washable markers come with the play structure and the cost? Just $39.99 w/FREE Shipping to the US! That makes for a very affordable Christmas or birthday gift and one that I plan to purchase in the future! We also thought that a playland from Box Creations would be a really fun craft for birthday parties!
How about $10 Off?
“Deal”ectible Mommies readers can use code: SM101310 to receive $10 OFF your purchase at Box Creations! That means you can pick up a “Box Creation” for just $29.99 SHIPPED! That’s awesome, isn’t it?

What I love about blogs is that they spark an idea in my brain. When that happens, I feel as I need to comment with the hope it may be interesting to some people. Because there are lots of blogs and forums with many points of view, they question your comprehension. It is at these moments when you have valuable insignt other people might not have had, together with the blogger him/herself. I find myself coming back to to your writings only because you have several very good insights and also you have been at this a very long time, that is very inspiring and tells me you know your stuff. Keep triggering imagination in others!
