Many of you have reported that you are no longer receiving free 2-day Prime shipping when you purchase items with Subscribe & Save. We first thought this may have been an Amazon Mom issue, however we have now confirmed that there has been a policy change to the Subscribe & Save program that no longer offers free 2-day shipping, but rather free standard shipping.
I can’t say that I’m joyous about this new policy, and I am sure that many of you are feeling the same way. Although I’m relieved to know that free shipping still applies, I’m not thrilled with waiting longer for my order to arrive. Read below to see what the new policy says….
Once I sign up, when will I get my first order?
As soon as you click “Sign me up,” we will begin processing your first order. All Subscribe & Save orders ship for free using standard shipping. The estimated delivery range for your first order is provided in on the Sign Up page and can be viewed on the Your Orders section of Your Account.
Can I upgrade my shipping method?
Shipping upgrades are not permitted for Subscribe & Save orders.
Why didn’t I qualify for Prime shipping?
The Subscribe & Save program offers participants great benefits like a 15% discount, convenience of recurring deliveries and a no-commitment cancellation policy with free standard shipping. If you need an item faster, Prime Two-Day and One-Day shipping are available for eligible items, but the 15% Subscribe & Save discount will not apply.
Can I get my Subscribe & Save items faster?
If you need an item faster, Prime Two-Day and One-Day shipping are available for eligible items on the product detail page if you have 1-Click ordering turned on, or at checkout, but the 15% Subscribe & Save discount will not apply.
How do I cancel my subscription?
There are no commitments. Cancel your subscription any time, online, 24 hours a day using Manage Your Subscribe & Save Items through Your Account. You will only be charged for orders that have shipped.
How do you feel about this new policy? Will you continue to order using Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program and wait longer for your order?

I knew I ordered diapers last week and they didn’t get here until Wednesday. I didn’t realize this new policy change had taken place. It won’t be a big deal for me, because the things I buy using s&s, I normally don’t need ASAP anyways. Thanks for the heads up!

I ordered a week ago and it took about four days to get our diapers. I understand the reasons, shipping has gone up again so they can’t offer the two day free. I never saw an email from them explaining this though. That is the part that upsets me-customer service. Still going to use it because the prices are good!

This change in policy sucks…sometimes I need diapers and wipes asap!

I agree with some of the other posts that the S&S combined with AmazonMom deal is still unbeatable and a nice deal is to be appreciated. I would, however, have liked an email from Amazon notifying of the change b/c I’ve been on the look-out for my diaper delivery and thought the box was delivered to the wrong address. Nope…just not scheduled to arrive for another few days. I have just enough diapers to hang on for one more day but again, would have been nice to know in advance.
