We were recently introduced to the Dreyer Family Band, a basement-born band composed of twin brother, Matt and Craig, their wives Annie and Cami and their kids, Mac (age11), Emmet (age 8), Silas (age 2) and Finley (age 2)!
The project started when Annie took the same advice she often gives to her children: If you have an idea, pursue it! The music is about their family experiences, recorded in only 11 days over 2 family vacations! Can you imagine how much fun this little family must be having? The music incorporates blues, folk, country and more and combines it into a melodic, not just tolerable, but love-to-listen to experience for everyone in the family! The Dreyers excitement and “hunger for life” attitudes come through on the CD and although this CD is not FOR kids, it includes them in a fun way!

Just visit the Dreyer Family Band online and listen to a few tracks! My personal favorite is “Home”! This fun loving song, which Mac sings, who by the way was only 10 years old at the time of the recording, is pleasant to listen to and my kiddo’s like to bop their heads to the fun-loving beat! My girls personal favorite is “Boo-Hoo”, sang by Annie, Cami & Mac. This song has helped Silas & Finley through many falls and I think in the near future, I may be using it too!
