There’s a world of apps out there, and being a mom with two small children, I have to be very careful of what I load onto my iPhone and fully go through the app myself before allowing my girls to have open access to it. To say that this process is tedious, would be an understatement, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity earlier this week to test out a new, and crazy fun app for the entire family!

Creating Your Cube Dog
The Cube Dog app allows users to create a large variety of different dogs by changing the color and shape of the dog’s head, eyes, ears, and body. The app uses simple shapes such as squares, rectangles, and circles and we found the creation process to be one of our favorite features of this app. An additional 84 shapes for building your Cube Dog can be accessed by purchasing a $.99 add-on pack from the Cube Dog store.
Playing with Your Cube Dog
Here’s where interactive fun comes into the mix! Once you have created your Cube Dog, you can play with him/her! By poking, prodding, and swiping your devices screen, Cube Dog will respond in various ways, such as mumbling to you, panting and moving his nose, and even barking at you. But don’t leave him alone too long, or he may fall asleep!
3D Animations
Cube Dog has full 3D graphics with the ability to rotate and zoom! The Free version of the Cube Dog app comes with 6 different animations including chasing a ball, calling you on your phone (yes, really, you’ll need to answer or decline the call), turning into a ninja warrior, and you can even put your Cube Dog to sleep if he’s being bothersome! Additional Cube Dog animation packs can be purchased in the Cube Dog store.
Take a Picture with Cube Dog
Dog is a man’s best friend and should be considered part of the family, right? Take Cube Dog along on your family vacations and snap a photo with your shapely friend! The Cube Dog app allows you to use your iPhone or iPod’s camera function to snap a few pictures. Just look at our Cube Dog, Pam (I know, awesome name right?), who fell asleep in my hand.
All together now…awwwwwwwwe!
You also have to watch out for your Cube Dog, who can become a little hostile and turn into a super ninja warrior…..
