My kids are already looking forward to the next holiday. As soon as Christmas was over, they were asking when and what the next holiday would entail. With Valentines Day being the next holiday to come around, we’re getting them jump started with a Brand New DVD that was just released on January 5th by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment: Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine For You Special Edition!
Winnie the Pooh was always a favorite of mine as a child and with this new special edition DVD, I can share it with my girls and their love for the honey-seeking, lovable bear can begin. The DVD includes 3 New Winnie the Pooh stories as well as new-to-DVD adventure My Hero, a bonus feature “Catch the Love Bug” and Pooh-themed Valentines cards are included inside each DVD!
Un-Valentines Day- In this fun story, that grumpy old rabbit wants to cancel Valentine’s Day because last year he was up to his ears in Valentine’s Day cards that littered the hundred-acre woods. Everyone agrees and Valentine’s Day is off until someone anonymously sends Pooh a pot of honey, sending Valentine’s Day back in full force!
A Valentine For You- The fun characters of the hundred-acre woods think Christopher Robin has been bitten by a “Smitten” and is love sick! Worried that he’ll no longer have time for his furry friends, they set out to capture the Smitten in hopes that a second bit will cure Christopher Robin.
My Hero- When Piglet saves Tiggers life, Tigger decides to repay the favor by becoming Piglet’s servant. As you can imagine, Tigger’s “new job” causes more harm than good. Then when Tigger saves piglet’s life, everything returns to normal.
Our girls loved each and every one of the stories and it sure took me back to my childhood. It was so much fun to sit with my girls and watch a DVD that was enjoyable for all of us!
