When Big Pea was a tiny Pea, diaper changes were not fun! We would lye her on the changing table in her nursery and she would flip, flop, cry and everything else you can think of while we changed her diaper. I remember saying to my husband “isn’t there something we can attach to the wall above her changing table or on the ceiling so that she can engage something other than the thought of taking flight off of the changing table”? We unfortunately came up with no answers at the time and I wish that I had been introduced to Fandangling back then!
What is Fandangling?
I know what your thinking…Fan..dang…what..who? Fandangling is an ingenious little product that turns ANY ceiling fan into a mobile! The idea was born when inventor Anne, a SAHM of 2, had her first little peanut Lia, who loved to stare at the ceiling fan! One day she decided to make the fan a little more interesting to look at and added a few “decorations”, which eventually turned into Fandangling.
How does it work?
Fandangling comes with five stuffed friends that are attached to a string with a piece of velcro attached to the end, and five pieces of separate velcro with a sticky back. Just place the individual pieces of velcro on the the top side of your fan blades and attach the stuffed friends on each blade. That’s it…instant mobile!
Our Thoughts…
We had the opportunity to check out the Safari Fandangling set that came with a giraffe, parrot, rhino, monkey and tiger! The furry friends are cute, small and fun to look at. Installation just takes a few minutes and your ready to go! Although we do not have babies anymore, the girls loved their new Fandangling! Of course, as any child would, they wanted to turn the fan on high (I think they were hoping to see one fly), so we turned up the speed and the Fandangling’s surprisingly stayed attached at full speed! Good Velcro! I think this would make such a fun baby shower gift for the mom to be. We love this idea and think that babies and kids alike will be intrigued by Fandangling!
