Do you know an everyday American with an extraordinary story? 

Over the past five years, Americans everywhere have demonstrated their extraordinary power to preserve, lend a hand and help one another in the face of hardships, difficulty and economic crisis.  For this reason, 2010 is the perfect reason to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame!
What is the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame?
A program dedicated to honoring ordinary people with unstoppable energy!  People from all walks of life have been compared to the Energizer Bunny (is my mother-in-law reading this?).  From celebrities, athletes, teachers and those in between, the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame began and still remains a way to honor these inspirational people for the energy and perseverance they demonstrate in their daily life, regardless of the circumstances.

National Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. was the first inductee. As the MLB record-holder for the most-consecutive games played (2,632), Ripken understands first-hand what it means to live life with a Keep Going® spirit!

The Search is on for the 2010 Inductee
From now until April 23rd the search is on for the 2010 Inductee.  The inductee could be your college roommate, colleague, brother, sister or even yourself!  Cal Ripkin, Jr. and the Energizer Bunny are looking for stories about unstoppable people who are living their life with passion!  The Inductee will win a $10,000 cash prize AND a $5,000 donation to the charity of their choosing!

The nominees will be narrowed down to 100 semi-finalist who will be honored in their hometown.  The judges will then choose 10 finalists whose names and stories will be posted online.  The it’s up to America to decide by voting online beginning July 6th and continuing through August 20th.  The super-duper cool part is that with each vote, $1 will be donated to the Cal Ripkin, Sr. Foundation up to $10,000!

  47. I would nominate my Aunt Angie for her courage as she battles her disease. She has always been an inspirational woman to me & now that life doesn't look too bright she still has Faith the Lord Jesus Christ will pull her throught it all! Thank you for sharing this cool giveaway with us.
