Traveling with Crayola Color Wonder: A Giveaway

You are here: Home / Reviews / Giveaways / Traveling with Crayola Color Wonder: A Giveaway

July 29, 2010 //  by admin//  440 Comments

As a family who lives to travel, we have seen our fair share of boredom while traveling abroad. The famous “are we there yet”? echos in the background of nearly every vacation and between long drives, flights, layovers and the occasional mishap in between, keeping young children busy during these times can prove to be quite the task! However, with a little imagination and the help of Crayola, you can hand over some mess-free fun and keep them occupied while heading towards your destination.

Crayola Color Wonder
Crayola Color Wonder has some fabulous products that you can take along with you on your next trip and the best part is there’s no clean-up involved! Children love that the Color Wonder markers create masterpieces that magically appear before their eyes and moms love that there won’t be any drawings left behind on airplane seats or worse yet, the family car!

If you have an upcoming trip planned, consider packing a few of these travel friendly products from Crayola Color Wonder to help your children stay entertained:

Color Wonder Lap Desk – Provides children with a large hard-top surface for creation on the go! Includes a handle and detachable pillow with a zippered closure that can be used to store Color Wonder markers and paper! The Lap Desk also includes 12 re-stickable papers that will allow the paper to stay in place for on-the-go fun! Includes 5 Color Wonder markers.

Fingerpaints & Paper – Fingerpainting in the car? Yes it’s possible with the Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaints & Paper! Combine this set with the Color Wonder Lap Desk and children can imagine their way right to your destination. The set comes with 5 clear, fast drying gels, in a hand shaped storage container, a built-in finger cleaning sponge and 12 extra-wide sheets of Color Wonder paper.

Markers and Paper – this set includes a drawing pad of 24 Color Wonder pages and 5 Color Wonder markers!

Stow & Go Studio – Provides a hard drawing surface with “stay put” clips that can accomadate a single sheet of paper or an entire Color Wonder activity book! Comes with 4 Color Wonder markers that have their own attached storage case and a Color Wonder activity book.

Story Stampers – This set is so much fun and comes with 5 Color Wonder markers, a Color Wonder stamp pad, 6 sea creature stamps, and an 18-page coloring pad with undersea background settings! Each page in the coloring pad is different, allowing children the ability to create a new undersea adventure every time!

My girls were sent one each of the above mentioned Color Wonder products and we have had hours of fun! We will be taking another roadtrip down to Carlsbad in a few weeks and I stored the Color Wonder products in a “to-go” bag and we will be taking them in the car with us! The stamp pad is certainly my favorite. It wasn’t until Big Pea was five that I let her loose with any stamps, as her sister watched from the sidelines, and you can imagine Lil’ Pea’s delight when she was able to use her own stamp pad.

I love that there’s NO MESS!

I like that Crayola Wonder products can be used in the car seat, with no mess to clean up! We are looking at our second cross-country move in a year (yes, you read that right), and I have a 3 year-old and an almost 2 year-old to keep occupied all the way from St. Louis to Silicon Valley! (And I may have to drive it myself, while hubby works at the new job!)

My daughter is a big fan of pens. unfortunately, paper is her LEAST favorite place to use them. (recent victims: her clothes, my bedsheets, the door, the couch.) With color wonder, I’m hoping she’ll be discouraged from those other uses because there’s no evidence of her efforts. Or at least if she still tries, there’s no evidence of her efforts!
