Shred Sled, a company specializing in extreme sports products for children, has recently introduced the Shox Scooter! This active shock absorber scooter allows riders to perform higher, faster and more amazing tricks than ever before. The Shox Scooter’s supreme shocks increase a rider’s speed and air time, making stunts bigger and better and it’s great for beginners to learn their first tricks!
My Thoughts
Team Mom sent us a Shox Scooter to check out and I must say that the shock absorbers are really quite impressive on this scooter. Riders can jump up and down on the scooter and it feels much like jumping on a trampoline, absorbing impact when children land jumps or perform stunts. The spring back action allows riders to increase power and the deck’s rough grip surface allows for excellent foot control and traction.
Built from lightweight aluminum, this Shox Scooter is designed for speed and comes equipped with a back brake that allows for proper control and of course, safety while riding the scooter. The easy to grip black foam handles can be adjusted to various heights, allowing children of all sizes to ride. When playtime is over, the Shox Scooter folds in half, allowing for space saving storage that moms and dads will love.
Although Big Pea isn’t quite ready to jump from a wooden ramp at this point, Daddy J and I had quite alot of fun performing tricks on the scooter. Yes, I jumped off the curb…I know, I know..I should be hangin’ with the pros! Big Pea, however loved riding the scooter without performing tricks and has been enjoying riding the Shox Scooter daily.
Buy It!
The Shox Scooter retails for $59.99 and can be purchased at multiple retailers both online and off, as well as amazon.com

Great post! BTW, following you on GFC. My 5-year old cousin wants a scooter for her upcoming birthday. This one sounds like a cool one, but I’m still looking around.
Have a great day!

Scooters are awesome! I got hurt pretty bad on one once.. but that was because I was going down a massive hill and bailed. Trying to impress a boy failed miserably! I will have to keep this one in mind when Hunter is older. Thanks for the great review!
