It wasn’t until just recently that I realized “National Donut Day” actually does exist. I had always wished there was a day where it was perfectly ok to sit and eat a dozen donuts by myself and not feel guilty about it, and thankfully I have now been given the permission to do so on June 3rd! Can you see me jumping and clicking my heels right now?
Like Entenmann’s on Facebook and Give Back
This National Donut Day, Entenmann’s will honor the Salvation Army volunteers who served donuts to troops in WWI. Today, the Salvation Army is credited with popularizing the donut in the US through this simple act of comfort and service. In celebration of National Donut Day, Entenmann’s is giving everyone the opportunity to help those who have served our country and their families by donating $1 (up to $10,000) to the Salvation Army for every Facebook Like they receive! Nearly $4,000 has been raised so far, and you with your help, Entenmann’s can reach their goal of a $10,000 donation!

Don’t forget that National Donut Day is June 3rd and you can bet that I will be sitting at my kitchen table with a dozen donuts and, NO, I do not share!
