A New Take on Bedtime for Children + #Giveaway (5 Winners)

FacebookTwitterPinterestAmazon Wish ListShare

Bedtime can be difficult for parents and children alike. My girls try just about everything to delay the process, including “I forgot a drink of water”, “I didn’t brush my teeth good enough”, or “my tummy hurts and I need to lye with you”! Often times, children have a difficult time going to sleep because they are either scared of the dark or images and ideas within their own imaginations.

With our girls, we have found that it’s helpful to them if we allow their brains to discharge. Gentle children’s music, or a good story seems to calm them before bedtime, and children have so much energy, that I think they just need a wind down period before heading off to sleep. A new musical bedtime story has been introduced that can help your child do just that, and it offers a combination of a story and music, making it a perfect choice for bedtime!

About Allister and the Nightlight
Allister and the Nightlight is a musical bedtime story for children. The main character Allister Van Twinkle, is a boy who does not want to go to sleep. One night a magical shooting star appeared in his room and took him on a journey of songs and adventures. The story has wonderful and catchy music alongside a spoken story that is woven through the CD. It is a new take on bedtime for kids that have trouble falling asleep or simply for kids to hear something soothing, pleasant that is not going to flutter their minds. It’s kids music like you have never experienced before!

Buy It & Free Song Download
Allister and the Nightlight retails for just $10 and is available for purchase at allisterandthenightlight.com. A digital album is also available. YOU can get a FREE Download of the bonus song “I Love this Song” when you like Allister and the Nightlight on Facebook!

We read Bible stories and make sure they each have their “lovey” toy. Then we pray and they go to sleep.

We have bathtime, then read books before bed. Having a routine helps, but my kids always seem to get hungry or thirsty or need a hundred different things when I say, “Time for bed!” :)
