E.T The Extra Terrestrial was first released 30 years ago in 1982. And now E.T is going to delight a whole new generation of audiences with the release of the Anniversary Edition on 10/9. For the first time E.T The Extra Terrestrial will be available on Blu-ray. The E.T Anniversary Edition is packed with extra bonus features!
This is one of my very favorite movies which I remember so well from my childhood. The story of E.T is as relevant and captivating as it was when the movie was first made, and now my kids love it too.
The story is timeless. E.T is stranded far from his home planet and finds himself in a very unfamiliar world. 10 year old Elliot helps him to find his way home.
At the time of it’s first release E.T was a technical marvel. In 1982 we all wondered how did they make E.T look so real? Even though technology has moved on so much this movie is still wonderful – even to kids who are used to present day special effects.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Anniversary Edition (Combo Pack: Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy + UltraViolet) is packed with new features and bonuses including:
The E.T. Journals: In this all-new bonus feature, retrace the day-to-day experience of creating E.T from never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes footage.
Steven Spielberg & E.T.: Watch an all-new interview with Steven Spielberg, as he reflects back on the film and discusses his experience working with the actors, as well as his overall and current perspective on E.T.
· Deleted Scenes: Two scenes from 2002 version of the film.

The E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Anniversary Edition (Combo Pack: Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy + UltraViolet) is available for just $17.99 from Amazon.
We always really enjoy bonus features on a movie and E.T Anniversary Edition is really excellent value for these. We particularly enjoyed the discussion with Steven Speilberg and the cast who look back on the movie.
