Our Lil’ Pea loves her babies! She loves to feed them, carry them, change them and swaddle them. As a matter of fact, I think we swaddle her baby dolls more times per day then she was ever swaddled as a newborn! Oh My! We have an opinion….
Lil’ Pea didn’t quite know what to do with herself when I handed her not one, but two dolls from Corolle along with two slings that she could tote her babies around with! The Calin Naima doll from the Mon Premier Collection is an African American doll that has a soft bean bag body and is poseable in just about any position. She’s small, coming in at just 12″, which Lil’ Pea loved! She can wear any piece of clothing from the Mon Premier line and she’s very cuddly! She has a cute headband with a little bow on top and Corolle also sent us a sling from the Mon Premiere Collection, which was a big hit! Little ones can now strap their babies to them just like mom and dad! I love, love, love this concept! When Lil’ Pea arrived, Big Pea wanted to wear her just like I did and it’s hard to find slings for dolls! Trust me, I looked! The Corolle company has many different slings to choose from, in different sizes to accompany their many different sized dolls.
We also had the opportunity to check out the Corolle Bebe Do doll! Bebe Do is a bit bigger than the Calin Naima doll, coming in at 14 inches. She is soft bodied, cuddly and comes with a feeding bottle, stuffed bunny friend and a board book for little one’s to read about how to take care of their new baby! Her eyes also close, which was a new concept to Lil’ Pea as she does not have a baby that does this! I cannot tell you how many times she has put the baby down to see her little eyes close and then picked her up and said “she’s awake now mommy”! Bebe Do can wear any piece of 14″ clothing from Corolle. We also had the opportunity to check out the Red/Fuschia baby sling from the Les Classiques collection. What’s so fun about the Corolle slings is that little one’s can wear their baby facing inward or facing outward, just like mom and dad!
Lil’ Pea is having so much fun with her dolls and slings from Corolle! These are babies that will last for a long, long time and I anticipate many hours of play and fun!
