I do a lot of searching on the internet as I’m sure many of you do!  I’m jalways on the hunt for new products, movies, recipes, blogs and everything in between.  Often times I bookmark a page so that I can return later and read all about it, but let’s face it….bookmarking is so last year!  Every time I have a moment and I want to sit down and find that website I bookmarked last week, it takes me ten minutes to search through the hundreds of bookmarks that I have…ugh…who has time for that?  Not this mama!

Springpad has set out to change the ways you save and access all that you want to save and remember!  Springpad offers a FREE web application that automatically organizes and enhances the data you store, saving you and me time!


How does it work?

With springpad you can save just about anything including recipes, movies you want to see, products you’d like to keep an eye on, books you’d like to read, issues you want to stay on par with and the list goes on and on.  But what’s cool about Springpad is it’s all organized!  So if you want to find that apple pie recipe you came across last week, you can just click on “Recipes” and tada!  it’s right there ready for the taking!

But that’s not all this nifty little program can do!  Springpad allows you to make a note, schedule a task and even set alarms.  If that isn’t cool enough for you, Springpad also syncs with your Google calendar…watch out batman!  If your a wine buff like myself (OMG!) then you can search out new wines and add them to your list to try!  You can also type in a certain wine and Springpad will pull similiar results within the community, offering new suggestions and of course making new friends in the process.

I can tell you where Springpad really comes in handy for me is when I need to remember a sale to share with all of you!  I come across so many “upcoming” sales and promotions as I search every day and I’ve found that writing things down doesn’t work so well for me.  Somehow my notes turn into baby slobber or fall victim to the crayon bandits!  Springpad is an easy place for me to go, get what I need, remember what the heck I’m doing and more importantly, keep you all up to date with what sale is happening today or tomorrow!

Springpad + Iphone =  One Rockin’ App!

You can add the Springpad app to your Iphone and suddenly a whole other realm of Springpad opens up to you!  With the new Iphone app you can input text, take a picture or  scan a barcodes (YES! Scan barcodes)!  This would have come in handy during our recent trip to Legoland when we found an organic, squeezable yogurt that Lil’ Pea fell in love with!  I could have simply scanned the barcode and Springpad would have automatically read it and saved it for me, so that I could access it later!  Does an application really get any easier and simply cooler than this?

I could really go on and on and on about the multiple features offered by Springpad and how it can simplify just about everything, but we would be here all day!
