Domino’s Pizza just recently announced that they will no longer be using professional photographers for their ads, nor will they be using fancy food artistry or food touch-ups! Domino’s Pizza wants to continue it’s honest, transparent way of communicating, using authentic pictures taken by YOU!
Domino’s Pizza Photo Promise:
– We will only photograph real, honest-to-goodness pizzas.
– Domino’s employees will make the pizzas we shoot.
– We will not artificially manipulate our pizzas when photographing them.
Show Us Your Pizza Contest
In an effort to use only authentic and real, right out-of-the-oven pictures of their Pizza, Domino’s has launched the “Show us your Pizza” contest where you have the opportunity to win 1 of 4 – $500 prizes if your picture is chosen! It’s simple… just dig out that old camera and take a shot of your Domino’s Pizza. Then simply visit www.showusyourpizza.com and upload your photo! But you must ask quickly as the contest ends on June 26th!

I think it’s a novel approach to advertising. It will probably keep Domino’s costs down as well and maybe enable them to give us more good deals.

I love their idea for the pizza photo! I love when you can see an actual product! Also, I never knew the amount of doctoring that went into making a pizza commercial!!! The stuff they do to the pizza to make it appetizing is amazing!

I have seen the commercials and I think this is a wonderful campaign.
I have always noticed that the food I buy at the restaurants looks different than what I see on the ads.
It’s great to see that this company is embracing transparency in their product promotions.

I think it’s a great idea. When their customers feel like they have a part in promoting Domino’s they will be more loyal customers.

I think it’s neat that dominos is trying to show how their pizzas really look. I hate how commercials always show really glorified versions of the food being advertised. Same thing goes for photos on the front of packages of food as well.
