I’ve known my husband for going on 10 years now and as long as I can remember he’s worn the same clothing…over and over…and over again. Everyday, it’s the same story: A Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and pair of either shorts or jeans. EVERY.DAY! Don’t get me wrong, I love his style and I think if he wore anything different, I would fall over out of sheer shock, however it was clear years ago that he needed a little love in the style department.
If his wardrobes woes weren’t worrisome enough, I am now going to step out there and tell you that he does not own a suit. Not only does he not own a suit, but he also does not own dress clothes of any kind. Shocking, considering he’s in business and a psychology major. Isn’t there some code of ethics that states that psychologists must wear dress clothes and grow a beard? Let me also remind you that there are times in life where dress attire is required! Thankfully we haven’t been invited to a wedding in a very long time.
*cough*cough*
With that being said, we had the opportunity to visit Men’s Wearhouse recently and experience the clothing and the customer service for ourselves. Initially I pictured a store filled with black, brown and gray suits that all looked the same. I mean a suit is a suit right? Soon after arriving, I was quickly “educated” by the staff and…*ahem*…I learned I was dead wrong about that one *blush*.

Men’s Wearhouse carries a large array of men’s suits, however I was surprised to see that they also carry jeans, sweaters, and “hip” clothing. Men’s Wearhouse really blew our minds with their large selection, however nothing could surpass their impeccable customer service. From the moment we walked in we were met by Lacee, who was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. She was fully educated about suits, body types and what fit with what and after spending about 10 minutes with her, I had the low-down on how to properly clothe a man. She stayed with us for a good two hours, helping us choose quality suits, jeans, shirts, ties, shoes and more. She walked us through each step, explaining the process of “looking good” and helped Daddy J with style advice, so he could walk out with some hip clothes that he’ll feel confident in.
A tailor then arrived to custom fit Daddy J and what’s really amazing about the tailoring at Men’s Wearhouse is that you only pay for it the first time! If you ever need your clothing tailored again, you simply bring it into Men’s Wearhouse and they will make the adjustments free of charge..FOR LIFE! I remember going into this store as a child with my Nana and looking at “big” pants for men. When I was a child, those pants seemed big. Anyhow, I didn’t realize they had other stuff like jeans and hip clothing. I will have to check it out sometime for my hubby!
Wow, that first paragraph – that is my husband! lol He still has clothes from when he was a teenager (27 now). He hates shopping, I usually do it for him and then it’s not because he asks but because I’m tired of the same clothes, lol.

My husband is 6’6″ and 250 pounds. It’s difficult finding any clothing for him especially suits. We shopped at Men’s Warehouse in Fl quite a few times, and I have to agree, their customer service is amazing. They really make you want to shop there, great review!
