Radio Flyer has recently released two new ride-on toys: The Slider Rider and the Scoot ‘N Zoom! Both products sport wheels that twirl and spin, so that children can step-up playtime with some spinning action and cater to children of different ages!
We had the opportunity to check out the Slider Rider, featuring a sturdy steel frame, rear caster wheels, contoured seat support and an adjustable frame that grows with your child, extending the life of the Slider Rider. My girls were thrilled to say the least! It arrived in a small package, so I had a sneaking suspicion that I was going to have to put it together. Once out of the box there were quite a few pieces that I had to assemble, however the assembly went rather quickly and all of the parts were individually packaged and the directions were simple to follow.
Once the Slider Rider was built, we took it across the street to the park where the girls could really get some spin out action on the basketball court. From there, the laughing ensued. Big Pea started the laughing, which was quickly followed by Lil’ Pea and I. It seems she was having so much fun that we couldn’t contain ourselves just watching her. What’s fun about the Slider Rider is that you can use it as a normal tricycle, however if you want some added fun, you just kick it to the side and it begins to spin out. I wanted to try it, however the packaging says that it’s rated for children 2-5 and has a weight capacity of 50lbs, so I thought it would be a bad idea to crush their new tricycle for my pleasure.
As with all Radio Flyer products, the Slider Rider is built to last and comes equipped with quality construction and pieces. I just have but one request for Radio Flyer and that is…can you please make one for adults?
