Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier Review & Giveaway

You are here: Home / Reviews / Giveaways / Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier Review & Giveaway

October 30, 2010 //  by admin//  139 Comments

Do you ever notice smells coming from your refrigerator? Not necessarily bad smells, but smells that just come from the food inside? My husband has a much better nose than I do and he has complained multiple times throughout the years about food smells coming from the refrigerator. When I open my refrigerator I don’t want to smell broccoli or soup or pasta sauce. Such smells can suffocate one’s appetite and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share a new product from Oransi that will change those “smells” coming from inside your refrigerator!

Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier
Oransi’s new Ionic Fridge Air Purifier is a small, silent, intuitive and very effective air purifier that can be placed right inside your refrigerator! The air purifier runs on 2 AA batteries that last approximately 90 days and includes a built-in micro processor that controls the operation of the air purifier so it cycles on and off to save the battery life.

Cost Effective
Oransi’s Fridge Air Purifier has no filters to replace and because you’ll only need to replace the batteries once every 90 days, your cost to operate this small unit is about $1/month!

Our Thoughts
When we received the Oransi Air Purifier unit, I was surprised out how small the unit was. About the size of a baseball, the air purifier features a LED display that indicates the mode of operation and a push button on/off. This air purifier has no fan, so the unit is silent. We placed it at the back of our refrigerator where it has remained for the last three weeks. I have to say that I am surprised that it has completely neutralized any and all odors inside the refrigerator and it couldn’t be more simple to use. Simply turn it on and forget it!

Best Photo of an Allergy Sufferer Contest

Oransi is holding a new contest starting Monday, October 25, online where anyone can submit their photo to Oransi.com showing how allergies make them miserable. One photo will be selected by voters and the winner will receive a new $500 Oransi v-HEPA PRO UV Air Purifier – and some much-needed allergy relief.

I would love to have one of these. I cook with a lot of garlic and onions and when something with those items sits in the fridge it permeates the whole thing in no time. I take my fridge apart at least twice a month and clean all the shelves, the inside, the whole bit(and it’s tough to do with an almost 2 year old). Something like this would help cut down on the extra work and it’s such an inexpensive item!

I would so love to win this! I’m a little over 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, and any kind of smell makes me sick right now. So, food smells from the fridge when I’m fixing my family’s meals are terrible right now (even if I’m the only one that can smell them!)!

I have 3 kids and there’s always something in the fridge that doesn’t smell quite right. Onions or other veggies that have gone bad make it smell too. This would be a big help!

But, I definitely want my food to stay fresher longer; especially my fruits and vegetables.

Fish is a staple in my house and we eat it several times a week but I’m not fond of the way fish smells. The “typical” fridge stick-ups do okay but then you have to pull them off and clean the sticky stuff off, re-hang them, blah-blah-blah. It would be so much easier to have something in the fridge that you just change the batteries in once a month…kinda like my computer mouse…lol.

The Oransi would help my refrigerator smell fresher and keep my foods fresh longer. Baking soda just isn’t doing the job as well as I wish.

I don’t like when my fridge smells like onions. I don’t keep fresh onions in the fridge, but if I cook with them and have leftovers, the smell seems to overtake everything else. hopefully this would help!

I want to keep my food fresh for longer periods of time. I hate when food goes bad and I have to throw it away.

It would definitly help with food odors. I hate for foods to pick up the taste and odor of another food.
Thanks for the great giveaway 🙂

I moved into this house a month ago and the fridge smelled like the previous residents let food rot in it! I put baking soda in there but it’s still kinda smelly so I would love to win this.

I talked about this air purifier today – unfortunately, it was because the fridge smelled like….well, I can’t describe it but the smell reached out and touched me across the room. BOY do we need one of these!
