I’m a cheese lover. I really, really, really love my cheese!  Not just any cheese, however.  I love Tillamook cheese! Now, I buy Tillamook cheese because our entire family loves the taste and it’s a yummy snack just about any time of the day, however, there are SO many more reasons to buy Tillamook cheese other than the taste alone and I’m not the only one who thought so!

Tillamook just earned the World’s Best Medium Cheddar title at the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest!  Um yea…I already knew they rocked before the World Championship Cheese Contest, but *ahem* nobody ever listens to me!

Tillamook Cheese is:

– made by a farmer-owned co-op that’s over 100 years old
– made without artificial hormones
– made each and every day
– voted the “World’s Best Medium Cheddar Cheese” at the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest
– the #1 selling natural cheese brand in the West
– naturally aged
– YUMMY (<—– Yea I said that!)

I make a very big effort to purchase products that are hormone free for our family! Now clearly not everything we give our children can be items that are “perfect”, however when I find items such as cheese, butter, etc. that is hormone free, I stick with it and I continue to buy it for that reason! Thankfully Tillamook Cheese is made without artificial hormones AND they sell it at Costco. It’s a win-win situation!

  2. I love love love Tillamook cheese! There’s no better cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich. The sharp cheddar is ideal for macaroni and cheese. And the single serving cheese are perfect for my daughter’s lunchbox. I just love the stuff.

  25. We live an hour away from Tillamook, OR, where the cheese is made. You HAVE to do the factory tour if you are ever here! And yes, we eat it daily… its the only cheese we buy.

  65. Ooh! Yes, I have eaten Tillamook Cheese many times (I actually live not too far away from Tillamook, Oregon, and have visited the very factory where the cheese is made!), and I love its flavor. Thanks for a great giveaway!

  103. This is kind of a funny contest for me. I recently found a postcard that fell out of an old photo album. It was from a friend of mine who visited the Tillamook farm 30 years ago! I’ve been buying Tillamook cheese for years. I love it! Especially the pepper jack flavor. It’s good, healthy and like you said co-op owned. It’s produced with a conscious. I’m trying to center as much of my shopping as possible around sustain-ably and consciously grown/raised groceries. The cows are not supplemented with rbst! I had no idea they had an online store.   140. I have tried it and loved it. I went to Oregon years ago and toured their facility and was so impressed. It was local good quality products made with care by local workers. Their ice cream was also wonderful! I havea hard time finding their products here in NJ so would love to win some.

And I would love to try it because I love cheese, and also the most important reason, because you said it was good and I do everything you say! lol Ok, ok, a little exaggerated, but still I would love to try it!

  164. I’ve tried Tillamook’s Medium Cheddar Cheese in the making of Welsh Rarebit. Rarebit is a sauce of spread made by melting cheese in beer. It is good as a topping for sourdough toast and served as breakfast.

    I think Tillamook is perfect.

  192. Yes, I’ve tried (and loved) Tillamook! I used to get the 2 pound loaves of Cheddar and my ex and I would eat them with apple slices. Yum! But, I try not to eat quite so much cheese anymore… if I had the 2 pound loaf of Tillamook Cheddar in the house, it would be gone from the fridge way too quick, and on my hips even quicker! Doesn’t mean I don’t want it… cause I DO!!

  206. I love Tillamook cheese! It tastes more natural and cheesy…which is good for cheese! We eat lots of cheese as snacks in our house, and tillamook is almost always in our cheese drawer in the fridge!

  233. I live in Oregon so yes I’ve tried Tillamook –I’ve even been to Tillamook –it’s the only cheese, yogurt, and ice cream we eat. I love the cheese especially the habanero jack cheese.

  275. I’ve been eating Tillamook cheese for about 20 years! Love it!! My husband and I like the extra sharp the best. Some slices of extra sharp tillamook on a plate with some cold slices of apple makes for the perfect snack. Now my two year old twins love it too. They like medium cheddar best. They actually cry for it:) yum!
