Disney Introduces New Interactive Viewing Experience for Kids with the Mickey Mote (Giveaway)!

On November 16th an all new, interactive way for parents and children to watch and play will be introduced with “Mickey’s Mote”! The all new “Mickey Mote” is a Mickey Mouse shaped kids remote control that will allow parents and children an interactive viewing experience like never before!

How it Works…

The Mickey Mote works with any Disney Preschool DVD that includes Discovery Mode(tm), the interactive “Watch & Play” feature on the DVD! All parents have to do is program the remote control – there’s an easy and quick set-up guide in each DVD- and select the Discovery Mode feature on the menu screen. Within minutes, kids will be easily responding to questions, throughout the story, about scenes they just watched (such as “What color is Goofy’s hat?”) by pressing one of four color-coded buttons on the device — a yellow star, green circle, orange triangle or blue square – to click in their responses. Discovery Mode features include two levels of play, which provides more challenging questions as the child grows.

Both DVD’s will come specially packaged with the new Mickey Mote. You’ll only need to purchase the Mickey Mote one time, as the Mickey Mote will be compatible with any Discovery Mode enhanced DVD. So you can continue to build your Disney Preschool library and play with the Mickey Mote along the way! In fact, as of right now, you can use your Mickey Mote with the following titles:

Our Experience…
We received both Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Number Roundup and Handy Manny: Big Construction Job, along with the Mickey Mote. The girls were eager to get started so we programmed the remote, which took just a moment. Once the Mickey Mote was programmed, we popped in the DVD and headed over to the Bonus Features section. There, we were able to choose from two mode levels. The first level is easier and best for beginners and younger one’s and the second level is best for older children or once your child has mastered level one.

Once the interactive experience began, we were able to play games and answer questions periodically throughout the movie, which the girls just loved! Of course you can also watch the movie by itself without the Mickey Mote and the girls loved these movies, just like they have all other Disney Preschool adventures. We love it and we think you will too!
