Dory, Marlin, Nemo, and their fishy friends are coming to theaters September 14th for the first time in 3D! Anything Pixar is a huge hit with my family so we are very excited about the release of Finding Nemo in 3D.
“‘Finding Nemo’ was originally shot in 3D,” said John Lasseter, chief creative officer for Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios and the film’s executive producer. “At last, with today’s technological advances, this spectacular underwater world can be seen as it was intended—showcasing its eye-popping detail and breathtaking colors to both theatrical and in-home audiences and creating atruly immersive experience.”
I will always remember the first time I saw Finding Nemo in the movie theater. At that time it was unlike anything that had ever been seen. The quality of the animation was just breathtaking – and it remains the same today. Seeing Finding Nemo in 3D is going to be an amazing experience!
Amazing to think that the Finding Nemo story was inspired by director Andrew Stanton’s visits to the dentist! He has said that on visits to the dentist as a child he would look at the fish tank there and think about how the fish must want to go home to the ocean one day.
Finding Nemo in 3D is released in theaters on September 14th.
