Although Amazon says the seat is for children as light as 33 lbs, the manufacturer’s website http://www.bubblebum.co/us/booster-seat/ says the child must be 40 lbs minimum.
I looked into this seat for my daughter earlier this year because we were going on vacation. She was only 30 lbs, so I passed.
It does look like a great product, and I am going to seriously consider it once my children reach 40 lbs.
Thank you for pointing that out Tracey. Also I have realized that I think that the standard safety recommendation is that a child needs to be 40lbs before being in a booster seat only – so wait until your child is 40lbs.
