With the holidays in full swing, i’m always racing to find recipes that are quick and easy. With two little ones running around and a full schedule, i don’t have much time to prepare for my guests. I’m sure many of you share in my frustration!
Recently, i was delighted when Mom Central asked me to review a recipe for Ultimate Party Meatballs. I’m not a big meatball fan, however, when they told me it only required three ingredients (can you believe that?) and 20 minutes, i was in! After tasting the Ultimate Party Meatballs, I was shocked to find out that i really do like meatballs! I know, interesting revelation at the age of 27!
I’m excited to share the recipe with you because i know it is something you can all do for the holidays. The best part is… their super easy and a real time saving appetizer. The next time your at the grocery store, i encourage you to pick up the three items and try this delectible treat.
Recipe:
1 16-ounce can Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 12-ounce bottle Heinz® Chili Sauce
1 2-pound bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs
Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 30 appetizer servings.
Slow cooker Preparation: Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.
How easy is that? I asked my in laws to come over and “review” the meatballs with us and we all gathered and waited! We were all standing over the stove, toothpicks in hand, mouths open wide and we couldn’t stop eating them! The Ultimate Party Meatballs are so yummy!
