Potty training blues? We sure know how that goes. For a select few, potty training is a breeze and requires little thought, for others (that would be the majority of us) potty training is an arduous process taking alot of time and negotiation! My first daughter decided that she wanted to go potty all by herself when she was 15 months and she did so for the next two months. Then suddenly, one day, all of that came to a screeching halt. Oh how I wish I had known what I was doing! As a first time mom I was clueless and now the second time around, I have the help I so desperately needed the first time thanks to Potty Tots!
The Potty Tots program is a interactive potty training program that encourages independence and self esteem. You know the famous toddler phrase “I can do it, all by myself”, well this program fosters that idea and takes it a step further. The Potty Tots potty training kits are sold as a boy version or girl version and come with the following:
• A story/guide book
• Animated DVD -featuring three original Potty Tots songs and 2 bonus music videos
• One 11″X17″ Illustrated potty chart
(easily wipes clean with damp cloth)
• One 11″X17″ “Toilet Bowl” progress/reward game with clings
(easily wipes clean with damp cloth)
The Potty Tots potty training kit comes nicely packaged in a way that will get your toddler excited about visiting the potty. The DVD is so much fun and we ran it by our 1 and 4 year old expert testers. Both of our testers were enthralled with the DVD and the music, and when the DVD was over, asked to watch it again! For the next day I was walking around singing the Potty Tots Rock! The DVD offers bright, fun characters to keep your children engaged, while teaching the basics of potty training in a sophisticated way. I’ll share a bit of the girls story with you:
Emily’s little sister, Lilly, doesn’t know how to go potty. When Lilly heads off to her first day of preschool, Emily comforts her by sharing a story of her experience in Miss Maggie’s preschool class. With the help of the illustrated potty chart and her friends, the Potty Tots, Emily learns the six steps to using the potty. Along the way, she makes new friends, learns the Potty Song and discovers that learning something new can be fun.
The Potty Tots offers a wonderful program and one that I share with my frustrated mommy friends. With the interactive DVD, potty chart and progress rewards, your child will feel motivated and confident in his/her journey into pottyhood! The Potty Tots website goes beyond the program and offers parenting support, extra activities for your potty tot and a printable diploma once your little tot has completed The Potty Tots Program.
