I know, I know, the title of today’s post is a little beyond interesting, but today I’m going to tell you how to go green with your poo….little one’s poo that is 😉
Cloth diapering is always a great way to go green, but for some of us, cloth diapering can be a little overwhelming to say the least. Thanks to gDiapers, there is an alternative to “going green with your poo” without the associated fears of cloth diapering.
gDiapers are an amazing little piece of hybrid genius that I believe are the diapers of the future. gDiapers pair a stretchy cloth, highly fashionable, diaper cover with a snap in liner and biodegradable insert. What’s really amazing about gDiapers inserts is that you can throw them away, flush them or compost them. Yes, you heard that right, you can flush these diapers!!!! Gdiapers can also be used with cloth inserts for you already “earth friendly” mama’s out there!
gDiapers inserts contain no chlorine, no chemicals, no perfumes, no plastic layer, no inks or dyes, no latex, no garbage, no guilt and will not sit in landfills for 500years! Yes 500 years is how long it will take for 1 regular, disposable diaper to decompose….not a very nice baby gift to leave for your great, great, great, great grandchildren! And they are so fashionable… these are like the petunia pickle bottoms of the diaper world, the bugaboos of poo!
Are you new to gDiapers and want to give them a try? Right now gDiapers starter kits are only $23.99 (good thru the 30th) and come with the following:
2 little gPants
10 flushable liners
1 swish stick
2 liners
You can purchase gDiapers at gdiapers.com and right now they have a limited edition “good earth” little gpant…and oh my are they cute! Reader Update:Marcy wrote: You can also buy packs of the inserts at diapers.com. I buy the 4-pack for $52, which means free shipping and it’ll get here the next DAY. How awesome is that? (Thanks Marcy!)
How do gdiapers compare to cloth and disposables? I can say from experience that we do not have anymore leaks with gDiapers then we did with cloth or disposables. I change my baby often (about every 2 hours) and we have never had a leaky issue with little gpants!
Why do we gDiaper?
Siena has very sensitive skin and normal, disposable diapers harm her skin within a day or two of wearing them. I really wanted an alternative to cloth diapering…I just couldn’t picture myself cloth diapering exclusively! We have been using gDiapers for about 1 year now and I’m proud to be a Gmum, which is a mom who loves gDiapers and loves to spread the word about them! If you also want to keep up with the gDiaper community, you can now follow gdiapers on twitter!
I really love gDiapers and I want to share them with you! I have a ridiculous amount of coupons to give away to save you a little bit of your hard earned money. Whether your new to gdiapers or an old friend, I have coupons for you. Just leave your info below and I’ll get a stack of coupons in the mail to you! This information is for my eyes only! Please let me know if you are new to gDiapers or an old friend!
Happy Diapering!
