It’s hard to believe that there’s only 20 or so days left of school! I thought kindergarten flew by fast, but my goodness has this year gone by even faster. I remember Big Pea’s preschool graduation and thinking to myself “how on earth is this already happening”?! We had went through the joys of “baby-hood”, the late nights, the teething, the diapers (oh do we have some poop stories to tell!), and when graduation time rolled around, I found myself at a loss for words, wondering how it all went by so fast.
The moment was truly amazing, however. Big Pea stood up on that stage, in her size 4 green cap and gown, and each of the children had the opportunity to tell everyone in attendance what they wanted to be when they grew up. We heard some very impressive answers, such as a Nascar driver, Spiderman, a lawn mower, and even a Transformer (how cool would that be?). My Big Pea stood up to the mic in all her glory and said “I want to be a princess when I grow up”! Little did she know, in our eyes, she already was!
With graduation time quickly approaching and on the mind of so many, it’s time to put on your graduation best, and find the perfect announcements! After all, whether your four or eighty-four, graduation is a big deal, celebrating years of hard-work and accomplishment. Yes, even if you are four!
