Many parent’s feel overwhelmed when faced with buying children’s shoes online. Rightfully so.. Which shoes do i pick? Is one company better than the other? What if the shoes are too wide? Too narrow? Do they run big? Run small? How do i guarantee a proper fit? Are they flexible or stiff?
There are so many questions to face, that many parents give up and go to the old standby… buying tangible goods at brick and mortar stores. Although this option is a good one, you can’t always find the shoes you want. Your limited in your choices, and your little ones feet and your pocket book could pay the price!
Is it possible to find a proper fit?
Absolutely! Many online shoes stores offer a “company specific” sizing chart. You can measure your child’s foot and use the sizing chart to find a proper fit. Many companies also offer a printable shoe sizing option. Just print out the shoe sizer and place your child’s foot on it and alas a proper fit is found!
My child has narrow/wide feet, what now?
Check with the company to find out if they have different options for width. Many companies will offer a narrow or wide fit. If the company does not, i suggest you “google” the companies name and see what other’s are saying. You’ll find plenty of reviews online for many of the companies your researching.
Isn’t it more expensive to buy online?
NO! With so many companies fighting for a place in the shoe market and the state of the economy, your pocket book will thank you for buying online. It seems there’s a new shoe store popping up online everyday and many of these new companies are beating prices by alot!

Shoes.com is a great website with thousands and thousands of shoes options for your little ones feet. You can join their mailing list and receive special coupons such as 20% off your entire purchase. With Shoes.com prices already low, that extra 20% will really help you save.
6pm.com is another great site to buy children’s shoes online. They have the lowest prices I’ve seen on many brands, although their selection may be dim on some.
