I have recently been shopping for car insurance, as we attempt to cut costs and save more money for our girls future. I consider myself to be great at finding the best deal on diapers, wipes and cereal, however when it comes to getting a car insurance quote, I feel like I’m lost in the Amazon! In fact, maybe Amazon should consider a car insurance division for clueless people like me!

So, I am asking for your help! Truth be told, I don’t even know where to start, who to call, where to go, or how to find a better rate than our current one….suggestions?
What I did first, before seeking other companies was call our agent and see if we were eligible for any discounts that may have been overlooked, etc. That saved us a bunch. My husband has been a Farmer’s customer for 20 years and has always been pleased with their service and didn’t want to leave them unless we absolutely had to.
While shopping around last year we found the best rate at State Farm.
I had been going through Progressive for years, but come to find out their very expensive. I recently got quotes from Esurance and Natural Liberty and they were at least $50.00 cheaper each month for me. Huge savings, check them out online and customize your own quote, never hurts to check, good luck. I can’t afford the payment method of every 3 or 6 months, that’s why I went this route.
