August will mark our third year anniversary here at “Deal”ectable Mommies! When I began blogging I knew nothing about the process. I opened a free blog using blogger and learned how to use blogger through trial and error. When I began I felt like I was talking to myself, and well…I was. Somehow, someway a few people found their way to my blog and slowly but surely our readership continued to grow.
When I began blogging I had no idea that Blogher conventions existed, or how to use web traffic analysis to better understand our readership. Terms like marketing animation, and SEO were foreign to our ears and without my good friend Google, I may have never figured it out.
We began to visit marketing automation forms to find a better way to connect with our readers and attract a readership of deal lovers, much like ourselves. As parents ourselves we knew how costly (and fun) baby gear, clothing, and diapers can be! We wanted to create a space where parents could collectively purchase the items they needed at a price that wouldn’t break their budget.
Although we have yet to fully figure it all out, we continue to strive daily in an effort to achieve our goals. We hope that you enjoy our little space in the blogosphere and benefit from the deals that we post here daily. With our third anniversary quickly approaching we feel like we need to celebrate. Perhaps a week long giveaway extravaganza?
